Frequently Asked Questions

Renaissance-Language text books have been developed over many years and are perhaps the only Native English Speaking prepared and written resources available that are specifically designed for Chinese students of English. A course increases in difficulty as a student progresses through it.

Technically a course comprises 16 classes, although a teacher may deem that if a student/s is/are having a problem with one skill in a particular class, the teacher may spend a lot of time helping the student/s convert that problem into a challenge and assist them in conquering it. When this occurs, the assigned unit for that class, in that lesson, may not be completed. It will therefore be continued in the next class until the teacher is satisfied that the student/s have mastered that element.

This pursuit of excellence by the teacher for the student/s may mean that a course may not be finished within the assigned 16 class schedule, it may take two or three more classes to complete; in the interest of providing quality this course extension is vital and acceptable.
